Plantar Warts

Plantar warts refer to harmless skin growths caused by a virus. They are the warts of the sole or plantar surface of the foot. They grow inward on a pressure area and are tender and painful. The reason for the growth of the skin or plantar warts is not known. Similarly some people get plantar more easily than others. The reason for this is also unknown. Also there is no precise prevention method. They are very common and even minor injury can cause bleeding. This disease is also contagious. They spread from one person to another easily.

If left untreated for years, they can become cancerous. Since we cannot kill the virus without killing the cells, there is no perfect treatment for plantar. But it is said that natural products such as Lantrasil are effective in treating plantar. They can also be destroyed through surgery or by freezing with liquid nitrogen.
