Research shows peptides help in Skin care

The skin care market is a million dollar industry. Every year new brands appear and old and trusted brands put new products on the market. There are face creams for all kinds of skin, from the young to the old, for blotchy skin and for people suffering from acne. Marketing campaigns tell us that we really need to try this or that new products and that we will end up looking like the model featured in the campaign.

There are a few basic rules to good skin care. Especially the aging and very dry skin needs special attention. Exfoliation with gentle products that are not too aggressive and regular moisturizing of the skin if most important to keep the skin supple and healthy. We tend to forget that our skin is an organ and because this organ is situated on the outside of our bodies we need to make sure that it stays healthy. A well-moisturized skin will get damaged less easily.

You need to take good care of you skin especially when on a holiday. Warmer weather and spending a lot of time in buildings with air-conditioning systems or being in the sunshine a lot can cause dam, age to your skin. The skin gets dry, possibly flaky and blotchy and may show miniscule cracks. Moisturizing the skin is therefore even more important when you are on a holiday. On top of that the collage that helps to keep your skin smooth and healthy is broken down by exposure to UV rays, which leads to wrinkling. Research has shown that face creams and other face care products containing so-called peptides help to regenerate the skin and when used on a daily basis results should be visible within 30 days of use.
