How to prevent and treat stretch Marks?Laser treatment for stretch marks has become very popular in the last years, especially due to the late advancements in this technology. Increasing knowledge and better machines have started to make a foot stand in the war against this defect.Dermabrasion has also become quite popular in the stretch marks removal market. The main difference with laser treatment is that the outer layer of the skin is removed by abrasion, and that it is a surgical procedure. That means that the patient will have to be anesthetized and the procedure is executed by a doctor. The other inconvenient of this treatment is that it requires medical rest once it has been finished. And it may not be as successful as the laser treatment. How To Prevent Stretch MarksIf you are a pregnant woman, there are several ways in which you can prevent stretch marks. Of course, none of them guarantees that you will not have some stretch marks, but at least you will be able to prevent most of them. The first one is to consult your doctor and ask him what kind of diet and exercise program he or she recommends for your pregnancy. With adequate training and a balanced diet, your body will be fit enough during the pregnancy and will not store any over excess of fat. Consider that it won't harsh your baby in any way. However, you will be quite happy with the results. Imagine yourself being able to wear a bathing suit just after your pregnancy! An excellent complement to exercise and diet are creams; there are several brands in the market, and they guarantee, at least, some success in erasing stretch marks. Of course, that doesn't mean that if you only use creams, you won't suffer from stretch marks. Creams have limited properties, so don't cheat your self or believe the marketing propaganda of some unscrupulous companies.
Their capacity to treat striae is based in believes, not in scientific method. The only one that has proven some success is vitamin E; stretch marks react, a bit, to the ingestion of this vitamin. Do not expect great results, though. Vitamin E should be considered part of a treatment, not all of it. So, if you want to prevent stretch marks, it is in your best interest to follow the indications mentioned above. After all, our skin is part of ourselves, and is the first thing that people notice. Remember that it is the largest organ of the body and it is one of the few ones that it's exposed to the outside. If prevention is already too late for you, proceed with the stretch marks removal treatments. You don't have nothing to loose and everything to gain.
